Board Committees

Alumni Membership Committee

Chaired by the VP Membership

The Alumni Membership Committee will plan and execute the Foundations traditional events, make recommendations related to new programming that will engage alumni, and to assist with the development of content for alumni communications.

Advising and Professional Development Committee

Chaired by the VP Administration

The Advising and Professional Development Committee will oversee the formal advising program to the Chapter. This will include the search and vetting of an off-campus
chapter advisor and on-campus faculty advisor and making a recommendation for the appointment of those advisors to the Board.


The committee will stay current on advising policies and procedures of the Fraternity and the University of Texas at Arlington and the best practices for advising undergraduate students. They will train the Board on advising policies and procedures.


The committee will provide support and oversight to the Chapter in completing the Chapter Excellence Plan and Pillars of Excellence program, including training and helping to schedule experts who can present to the Chapter in accordance with CEP and POE guidelines.


Develop and oversee mentoring program for undergraduate members by recommending programming that will develop leadership skills for members not serving on the undergraduate Arlington Chapter’s executive board.

Operations Committee

Chaired by the VP Compliance

The Operations Committee will be responsible for developing and conducting annual compliance and risk management assessments, including training the Board and members.


The committee will also be responsible for maintaining and keeping safe the chapter’s property including but not limited to the charter, composites, decorations, memorabilia, and trophies.


The committee will manage the Foundation’s real estate, if any, including enforcing the Board’s policies regarding leasing and maintenance. The committee will oversee
research and planning related to the purchase, sale, or rental of real estate and present their findings and recommendations to the Board for review and approval.
